My major projects in UNL:

2005

  • Design and implement cdbpump system to convert commercial GIS data files into MLPQ constraint database representation (Visual C++).
  • Simple character recognition through Sparse Distributed Memory (SDM) model (Visual C++).
  • Red-cross target identification in outdoor environments (C++ in VisiQuest, in process).
  • Identification of different programming languages by their sample codes using Neural Networks (Visual C++, in process).

2003-2004

  • Designed and implemented the WeNiVIS system to track and reason West Nile Virus epidemic in Pennsylvania (Delphi and SQL).
  • Analyzed, designed and implemented the DOAS system to visualize state drought information for the digital government drought analysis project in Nebraska (Visual Basic, SQL, Datalog, and ASP).
  • Analyzed and implemented a web-based recursive concepts visualization system RecIV (Visual Basic, ASP, and Datalog).
  • Designed and improved the MLPQ constraint database system to support recursive SQL query (Visual C++).
  • The Implementation of Classical Search Algorithms for CSP problems (Visual C++).
  • GIS applications for West Nile Virus prediction and protection (ArcGIS).

2002-2003

2001-2002

  • Designed and proposed a core framework for a state funded cancer project (UML in Rational Rose).
  • Formalized the stability model's diagram style and notations to increase its readability (UML).
  • Analyzed and modeled a dynamic scheduling problem for an open-pit mining transmission management system.
  • Java Sockets-GM and the Experimental Study (Java).
